DAY 2 RESULTS
The second day of the World Poker Tour was celebrated at the casino Bellagio in Las Vegas and at the end of the day, from the 275 players that had started the day there were only 98 left.
As we had mentioned yesterday, among the innovations of this tournament was the possibility of starting at any level up to the ninth one. That gave us the chance to see some players starting in the second tournament day. Among the players who chose this option were Phill Hellmuth and Kenny Tran, but both were eliminated soon after they had started. That proves that there are no a clear advantage on starting in more advance tournament phases.
So far, after two days, Jason Somerville is the tournament leader with 557.000 accumulated chips.
The list of players in the first five positions is as follows:
-Jason Somerville 557.000
-Mark Seif 473.200
-Dutch Boyd 453.800
-Chad Batista 425.000
-Corwin Cole 405.600
And while we wait for the tournament resolution nothing better than enjoying our favorite cards games playing at the best online poker sites.

FIRST TOURNAMENT DAY
The World Poker Tour started yesterday at the Casino Bellagio de Las Vegas (Nevada) and will still taking place till next Monday de 26th of October.
In this occasion the buyin price was $15.000+$400 and the number of chips obtained was 60.000. The innovation this year is that players can register and start taking place in the tournament at any time before the level nine, at the same price and for the same amount of chips.
This new initiative was taken because many professional players get really bored in the first phases of the tournament because the level is low and therefore they prefer to start once the level of game is a bit higher. Some recognized players have already expressed their opinion regarding this new idea, as for instance Negreanu and Jason Mercier. They both agree on the fact that any of the two options available hasn’t got a clear advantage over the other. Therefore, everything will depend in the wiliness of the player to start earlier or not.
So far, after the first day of tournament there are only 195 players left from the 244 that started the competition.
The five players better situated in the ranking are:
-Mike Matusow 224.200
-Mark Seif 222.425
-Jason Somerville 213.350
-Joseph Elpayaa 195.500
-Jason Lavalee 187.325
In any case, there are still many days of tournament left, so there is nothing decided yet.
And while we wait to know the final results, nothing better than practicing our favourite cards game in the best online poker rooms.
